A brief history of Mugum (Mugu) or Mukhum

Mugu (Mugum) is a small village established around 800 years ago. It is located in the Mugu District of Karnali Zone of Nepal, near the northwest border of Nepal and Tibet. The village is around 53 km from the Mugu district headquarter and around 30 km from Baryang, Kelag.

About Kathmandu

Kathmandu, the capital and largest metropolitan city of Nepal, is encircled by four dominant hills, namely, Shivapuri, Phulchowki, Nagarjun and Chandragiri. It is also famously known as the city of temples, monasteries and shrines, You can see devotees paying homage to their gods and goddesses and observe them perform age-old rituals and festivities, displaying at every turn the intricate mixture of Nepal’s ancient Hindu-Buddhist traditions.
