A brief history of Mugum (Mugu) or Mukhum
Mugu (Mugum) is a small village established around 800 years ago. It is located in the Mugu District of Karnali Zone of Nepal, near the northwest border of Nepal and Tibet. The village is around 53 km from the Mugu district headquarter and around 30 km from Baryang, Kelag.
Kathmandu, the capital and largest metropolitan city of Nepal, is encircled by four dominant hills, namely, Shivapuri, Phulchowki, Nagarjun and Chandragiri.
